Republicans have been saying for the last year, Let the people buy insurance through interstate competition..and having been in business myself I would agree with that premise, because I have seen first hand that other business's really could care less about the quality of service that your business offers which mine did..they want to know "How much is this going to cost me" So if people sell the same widget..One is $1.00 and one is $2.00 and they are exactly the same thing, however My widgets for $1.00 are made in Nebraska and the $2.00 widgets are made in Your home state if Tennessee, and you need How many 10 Million..It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know which one will save you money..

We "liberals" don't want government provided health care. We want a central payer to reimburse health expenses to PRIVATE providers for all citizens out of a pool of funds payed into by all citizens. How hard is that to understand?

I read recently that the British are still trying to prop up their socialist health care system. I wonder how many people have died as a result of their system that wouldn't have died without the system. We'll never know. No matter how cheap it is, it doesn't do one much good, if it kills you.

It may or may not be cheaper, but government health care is more deadly. Teddy Kennedy had a chance, but government health care would have sealed his fate.
