With 131 million bushels of U.S. soybeans, Mexico comes in as the second-largest importer. Throughout Mexico and Latin America, soy is promoted as helping improve nutrition and alleviate world hunger — especially for children. This is being done through government food-aid programs that represent about 40% of the total consumption of soybeans for the human health market worldwide.

After pondering the question of how to feed a growing population, not just here, but all over the world..I happened to hit on the soybean link and could this be the best available cure for the Hungry in the world...I know there is probably more we can do..with things such as education and health care, but it seems to me that with all the out of control spending along with the immigration problems that Hunger should be first or close to the top in solving problems, and then I was wondering that probably some countries would not see or reap the benefits of this aid, because of their Dictators who refuse to give aid and comfort to their people..So anyway, as a Conservative, and a Humanitarian it would seem logical to explore the possibilities of the Soybean...I identified myself as a Conservative, because some liberals would not even believe that this would be an issue for conservatives...anyway...It's something to ponder...This is not really a Liberal/conservative issue...just a Humanitarian one
